Toronto Cat Rescue Adopt-a-thon

Toronto Cat Rescue (TCR) collaborated with Wag on the Danforth, a local, family-run pet business, for an adopt-a-thon on July 7. The engaging event attracted dozens of customers as everyone wanted to hold and cuddle one of the kittens up for adoption. TCR does not use pet stores as a shelter; instead they act as a temporary placement to give cats extra exposure outside of their foster homes, thus increasing their chances of being adopted. The adoption fee at the event was $175 for kittens and $100 for cats over the age of 6, and the fee also ensured they had received the proper medical attention.
