House Calls Film Screening

MP Matthew Kellway hosted a free screening of the film House Calls at East End Community Health Centre on April 17. The Gemini Award-winning NFB film touches on how to best care for seniors as Canada’s population ages, offering a glimpse into the lives of Dr. Mark Nowacynski, his patients and their struggler to live in dignity. After the screening, residents had the opportunity to engage in a discussion with representatives from East End Community Health, Neighbourhood Link and doctors involved in the “House Calls” programme.
