WrestleStock

The Union of Independent Professional Wrestlers, in association with Morpheous Productions and the Silver Snail Comic Shop, recently presented WrestleStock on April 14th at the Legion Hall on Pape Ave. With an abundance of talent spanning numerous regional promotions, fans certainly got their money’s worth with a night of memorable wrestling action. Headlining Wrestlestock was none other than former ECW Heavyweight Champion and crowd favourite the “King of Old School” Steve Corino, who took on Michael Elgin for the UNION Heavyweight Championship in the Main Event. While Corino brought the crowd to their feet after emerging victorious against Elgin, shortly after the match he lost his title to Josh Alexander, who shadily used the newly crowned UIPW Tag Team Champs, Joey Kings and Ethan Page, to hold Corino’s son Colby captive in order to get his title shot that night. The night also featured great giveaways and fans were invited to join their favourite stars afterwards for the official WrestleStock After-Party at Factory Girl Restaurant and Bar.
