Riverdale Park East was host to over 200 kids between the ages of 4 and 12 for the 4th Annual Unity Games. The mini-Olympic style Track and Field day, organized by the Broadview Community Youth Group (BCYG), unfortunately was washed out due to poor weather conditions. We chatted to a group of buoyant campers from the BCYG, hoping for a little sunshine, and asked them this month’s question for Kids Comments: Who is your favourite movie star?” The squad of east end campers was thrilled to answer the question, as well as repeatedly ask us: Is this going to be in the newspaper!?
