Centre 55's Centennial Celebrations

Community Centre 55 hosted a street festival to celebrate their centennial birthday on June 18, where the award-winning agency and registered charity presented the community with an exciting day of entertainment for the whole family. Residents crowded along Main St. outside the renowned community centre to celebrate its monumental achievement, cheering staff and Toronto Police Services as the cut the 100th Anniversary ribbon. Afterwards, patrons sat back and relaxed as they watched entertainers perform on the closed-off street, capping off a wonderful afternoon.
