Toronto Beach Chorale
On April 22, Toronto Beach Chorale (TBC) concluded a successful third season of three concerts singing the lyrical, hope-inspiring and peaceful Requiem and a capella Four Motets by Maurice DuRufle. TBC is an auditioned concert choir, drawing its membership from the Beach community and the surrounding area. The choir is supported in part by funding from the Toronto Arts Council as well as a number of corporate and individual sponsors in the community. Their fourth season concerts will include “Sounds of Yule” on November 26 at 7:30 pm; “Love is …” on February 12 at 3 pm, and “Music for Light, Hope and Peace,” featuring the Fauré Requiem on April 6 at 7:30 pm. This summer the choir will also be featured in Centennial celebrations of the Centre 55 building on Saturday June 18th. For more information go to www.TorontoBeachChorale.com
