Groove and Graffiti

40 students from across the GTA swapped their notebooks and pens for aerosol cans on May 19 and 20 at Groove and Graffiti workshops hosted at Danforth Collegiate Institute. Handpicked students from various secondary schools were educated on the history and techniques of graffiti and given the chance to create their own aerosol art pieces. Sponsored by the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, Graffiti artist duo Elicser and Mediah lead the two-day workshop.
