Barrie Central students piggyback their way to the next round

BUST 2011

Ultimate Frisbee high school and elementary teams competed in a one-day ultimate tournament at Birchmount Stadium on May 10. The 5th Annual Birchmount Ultimate Spring Tournament (BUST) featured 16 teams from across Southern Ontario vie for this year’s BUST championship, and of course bragging rights. The weather cooperated a little better this year, however at times the wind still powered the Frisbee in another direction, much to the displeasure of players. Nonetheless, teams relished the opportunity to compete outdoors in a series of friendly matches while their classmates attended another day indoors at school.
