Students from Neil McNeil pull to victory in the tug of war contest
4th Annual TCDSB Northern Spirit Games
The 4th Annual TDCSB Northern Spirit Games were hosted at Neil McNeil High School in mid February – welcoming a group of elementary schools from across the GTA.
Elementary students partook in activities honouring Inuit and Aboriginal populations at the games. Students excitedly whipped through the spirited activities, working together with their peers to complete challenges at each station.
However, there was one specific game station that excited them the most, and that of course was the “tug of war.” Elementary students battled in a pulling contest against the students from Neil McNeil. The friendly, yet challenging game, provided the most laughs and fun for both the elementary and high school students.
