Night of the Sacred Sun: Summer Solstice Concert and Peace Flag Ceremony

Come out and celebrate the Sun on the day it reaches its highest point of the year! This is a FREE event hosted by the Children’s Peace Theatre in collaboration with Peace 21 and Battenberg Music. It will feature a Peace Flag ceremony, a potluck dinner, youth performances, and a concert followed by an outdoor drum circle and bonfire.
The Peace Flag Ceremony invites people from every race, religion and background to jointly declare peace for people of the world during the heightened energy of the solstice.
*NOTE: Participants are invited to join free drumming circles to prepare for the solstice on Monday, June 4th, 11th, and 18th from 7-9pm at the Children’s Peace Theatre
