2008 May > Earth Hour at the Balmy Beach Club

Just as they did all across the neighbourhood, the city of Toronto, and the world, the lights went out at the Balmy Beach Club for Earth Hour. In the place of lights, lanterns and candles were lit indoors and out and members remembered what it was to visit via moon and lamp light. From a SNAP perspective, it was nice to mark Earth Hour with some photos in a slightly different light since that was the entire point of the evening's event and we've shared some of these with you to reflect back upon what a life without flash can look like. Perhaps between this and next year's Earth Hour we can all find some space in our world's for the periodic enjoyment of life by candlelight.
