2008 May > Dentonia Golf Course Grand Opening

You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful spring day as Dentonia Golf Course teed off for the first time. Councillor Paula Fletcher took the first swing and was followed by the General Manager of Parks and Forestry Brenda LiBrecz. Last but not least was Parks manager of Operations, James Dann who's first ball cleared the trees - Tiger style. Dentonia Park is a lovely course ideal for beginners due to its smaller stature, or for seasoned golfers due to its varied holes. It is one of 5 City golf courses and is right in our neck of the woods at Victoria Park, just north of Danforth. Come on out to Dentonia and take your own first swing of the season.
