2008 May > Leslieville Comes to Life

Once in awhile, we send SNAP photographers out to get a glimpse of life in action in one of the local neighbourhoods or nooks. This month, we wandered out to Leslieville to capture the unique flavour of this interesting area in terms of the people, parks, businesses, and even just the moments that make the area what it is - a very cool and very small town inside our big city. Lately many in Leslieville have been fighting hard to keep this flavour intact. We think these photos illustrate that Leslieville has very much come into its own. If you don't happen to live there, it's definitely worth a wander one weekend or weekday afternoon. You'll likely see some of these spots in your travels.
