2008 May > Cliffcrest Library Reopens
On April 3rd, the luxurious newly redesigned Cliffcrest Branch (Toronto Public Library) reopened to the public after an extensive renovation. An eager group parked out front of the Cliffcrest Branch, waiting in anticipation of the unveiling.
Attendees were greeted by Area Manager Magdalena Vanderkooy and City Councillor Brian Ashton. Guests then had the opportunity to tour the library's spacious environment, as well as its new features.
The branch expanded it's space from 2,800 to 4,900 square feet, an increase of 75 per cent. Some of the new features added were a public meeting room, new wireless internet access and additional public PC workstations.
