The Mommy Wars : The Rhetoric and the Reality
Linn Baran, the coordinator of Mother Outlaws, invited us to a meeting that took place at the Fade In Cafe this past month. Mother Outlaws hosts community gatherings in the Toronto area for women interested in discussing current motherhood issues from a feminist perspective and to share the links between their own mothering practices and social change. Many interested guests showed up to hear a guest panel speak and to share their views and ideas.
