Shoelace Collective BBQ

Shoelace Collective, a respected community group working together to help bring poverty to an end, celebrated their first year in the Woodbine Heights Neighbourhood.

Shoelace are making a positive difference in the lives of people in our neighbourhood who suffer the daily indignities of poverty. They accompany neighbours who are having to deal with the complexities of social service, landlord/tenant, legal, or political issues. Shoelace has also recently started the Woodbine Heights Workers' Co-op to provide some local employment for our neighbours.
